Upstairs flooring is finished. The Vermont Cherry with 3 coats of Waterlox is beautiful. I wish we hadn’t used polyurethane on our own floors. This slightly more expensive option really enhances the wood thanks to the tung oil and yet provides just as much protection as poly, if not more.
Below is a peek at the master shower pebble floor, looking as desired- like those found in the Chase Brook out back, or down in the Mad River. It will look nicer still with the marble sill and subway tile walls. Up next. . .
The Eramo crew have finished up the fireplace, but here is a shot of them on their final day indoors, carefully setting each hand cut stone.
